During the period from June 2019 until and including August 2019, 183 job advertisements were evaluated in the framework of the research project. In total, four different professions were looked at and their technical and interdisciplinary competencies investigated. Using the websites StepStone, Monster, Jöbbörse.arbeitsagentur, stellenanzeigen.de, meinestadt.de and Indeed.de, 50 job advertisements for industrial mechanics, 60 for mechatronics technicians, 24 for maintenance technicians, and 49 for warehouse technicians were looked at. Only job advertisements from small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) were considered.
